East Tawakoni Park Fundraiser is Saturday, September 20 at 574 TX 276, East Tawakoni, TX. It will be directly in front of our Library. As part of this event, there will be a bake sale in the library. There are some amazing bakers in East Tawakoni and we are asking for your help to ensure we have baked goods available for sale. Pies, cakes, walking around snacks, brownies, cookies – anything you might want to contribute. You may take your baked goods to City Hall on Friday, September 19, and they will be picked up or you can bring them directly to the library Friday, Sept. 19 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. or Saturday morning. This will be a fun day in East Tawakoni and we hope you come out and enjoy everything happening Saturday including Bingo, a live auction, car show, free kids fishing tournament, a sales table full of beautiful baskets, concert by The Blandelles – a 60’s/70’s great band, food, and so much more. All proceeds will go towards a matching Texas Parks & Wildlife Grant for our City Park. Questions – call 903-480-8910.
