Letter from the Mayor

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the Mayor of the City of East Tawakoni. I want to thank my husband, and my children for the support they continue to offer as I serve the community. I am committed to maintaining our small-town charm by ensuring the safety and integrity of our neighborhoods, the quality of our services, and the vitality of our businesses. A great deal of work continues to be done by many people toward that intention.

Proactive measures must be taken in order to reach our goals and shape our own destiny. I remain committed to working with the dedicated staff and city officials, residents, and business leaders to maintain and enhance the services and programs that we so proudly offer. We need to embrace new initiatives and continually identify new opportunities so as to remain economically competitive while preserving the quality of life valued by our residents. With the help and support of all of you, we will continue to be a “Vibrant Community” with a bright future.

I thank you for your continued support as we strive to provide services that will carry us into the future. As always, my door remains open, and I welcome you to share your ideas and concerns with me.
