Due to the City of Emory having a Main Break on HWY 276 we are asking everyone to please conserve water while they are fixing the break. This is a major line for the City of Emory which it may or may not effect the water distribution for the City of East Tawakoni.

The Spirit of East Tawakoni will sponsor our city’s annual 4th of July parade on Friday, July 4th at 10:00 a.m. If you are planning to be in the parade, please be at the City Park- 288 Briggs Blvd., East Tawakoni, TX no later than 9:45 a.m. Come in your favorite ride – car, motorcycle, float, bicycle, golf cart, 4-wheeler, tractor, horse, or anything that you want to show! There will be free decorations for bicycles or those who need to add a little extra to their ride at the police bay across from City Hall.
If you love a small town, old-fashioned, proud to be an American parade, this is for you! Let’s show up and show out!! If you’re watching the parade, get those lawn chairs ready and listen for the sirens!
