Warm Clothing & Blanket Drive

October 15, 2024

As we move into October, the weather will become cooler and there are many families who cannot provide themselves or even their children with warm clothing or a way to stay warm in their homes.  The Spirit of East Tawakoni Volunteer Group Annual Cold Weather Clothing & Blanket Drive has been so successful over the past years due to the generosity of our own citizens and surrounding cities who have participated.  Below is a list of suggested items but it is not inclusive. Please take into consideration all age groups – babies to elderly.  Donations can be new or gently used.  If you want to donate money, you can go by the East Tawakoni Library during the scheduled hours for the drive below and we will buy needed items on your behalf; or you can contact Regina Chandler at 903-480-8910.  If you would like to volunteer to organize donated items or work the hours noted below, please contact Regina.  Thank you for your generosity and willingness to volunteer!
